No. The vast majority of programmes are taught in English. Most universities require an English proficiency test (IELTS/TOEFL/MUET), though some offer English foundation pathways.

Bachelor's tuition usually ranges from MYR 15,000–45,000 per year, with living costs around MYR 1,200–2,500 per month depending on the city and lifestyle.
Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is the body that processes international student visa (Student Pass) applications. Your university submits the application on your behalf once you accept your offer.
International students may work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) during semester breaks and holidays in eligible sectors, subject to current regulations.
